Speed Painter brings luck to golf star Karrie Webb? Haha.. I’d like to think so, but in reality I think Karrie Webb won the Australian Open on shear talent..
Having said that, I painted Karrie at the Womens PGA Australian Open 2014 gala event. It was standing room only as guests watched me paint the top 3 golfers in the world in a poster and then as I performed on the stage painting Karrie and USA player Paula Creamer (aka the Pink Panther!).
Later in the week Karrie captured her fifth Australian Open (2000, 2002, 2007, 2008, 2014) and Paula’s first visit to Australia brought home a respectable 3rd place.
